Giants got a break!

The NYG caught a huge break last year! The offense was very suspicious. I will give you that the defense came alive at the right time. Anyway, there is NO way that they are going to repeat. I will be surprised if they make the playoffs.

When you look at the Giants season, it was not a fluke. They won a league record 11 straight road games. They played the Patriots tough in the last regular season game when everyone thought they should just lay down and quit.

When they beat the Cowboys, I would have been very happy if the season ended at that point. But the Giants took a pounding defense, a hard-nosed running game and good quaterbacking to Green Bay, where no one defeats the Pack on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. And they did it. In a real frozen-snot, black and blue game. They did it!

Then they went on to Arizona. They were supposed to be the Patriots' patsies. They were supposed to roll over while the Pats rolled to a perfect season.

But the Giants had a different plan. They started hitting Tom Brady from the moment he woke up that Sunday morning and they didn't stop until they held the Lombardi Trophy, sixty game-minutes later.

The Giant "D" should have been the game MVP as they broke through the Pats' vaunted all-pro offensive line. They stopped the run. They stopped the pass. They made history.

The Giants played one of the toughest, most exciting Super Bowls I have ever seen.

Hey, Patriots, great 18-1 season.

GO BIG BLUE!
