They won a league record 11 straight road games. They played the Patriots tough in the last regular season game when everyone thought they should just lay down and quit.<BR/><BR/>When they beat the Cowboys, I would have been very happy if the season ended at that point. But the Giants took a pounding defense, a hard-nosed running game and good quaterbacking to Green Bay, where no one defeats the Pack on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. And they did it. In a real frozen-snot, black and blue game. They did it!<BR/><BR/>Then they went on to Arizona. They were supposed to be the Patriots' patsies.They were supposed to roll over while the Pats rolled to a perfect season.<BR/><BR/>But the Giants had a different plan. They started hitting Tom Brady from the moment he woke up that Sunday morning and they didn't stop until they held the Lombardi Trophy, sixty game-minutes later. <BR/><BR/>The Giant "D" should have been the game MVP as they broke through the Pats' vaunted all-pro offensive line. They stopped the run. They stopped the pass.
